Tuesday Momentum 08-05-11

Thursday July 28th thru Saturday the 30th, Bishop and Pastor Karren were at youth camp in Falling Waters, WV at the Potomac Camp Ground. Everyone had a great time. Bro. Randy Coyle was the Friday night speaker.
Sunday
Bishop Sunday morning spoke at a 9 am service at a Presbyterian Church in Back Creek. They were renovating their sanctuary so we enjoyed an outdoor service.

At our 11 am service Bishop preached on “Holy Ghost Facelift” from Psalms 42:11, where David said that God is the God of my countenance. In the Hebrew this means “God is the Salvation of my Face!” Serving God can make your countenance look more youthful. Proverbs 21: 29 says “A wicked man hardens his face.“ But for the person that is saved, Eccl. 8:1 “A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the sternness of the face is changed.
The face shows what is in the heart! Some of us had better watch out because our face is talking behind our back.
"Mike Criss and his mother Debbie sang a special.”

Chad White opened the evening service up with prayer and his father Elder Terry White brought forth the word.
Did you know that God has a GPS? God’s Plan for Salvation! Technology makes our life easier. The GPS will recalculate when you make a wrong turn. God does the same thing, if you follow His plan. God’s plan for sinners, God’s plan for sickness, God’s plan for suffering. Things are easier if you are in his presence, John 3:1. God has a plan for each one of us. Sometimes when things look bad, ask what do you want me to do Lord. We need to be open to others and put our problems aside, let us reach out and touch others.
