On Saturday Bishop and Pastor Karren hosted their third annual picnic for Shift n Steel Sports Riders. Forty Five bikers from four different clubs, as far away as Delaware, came to honor Jason "Coffee" Farley in their yearly memorial ride. After the ride to the grave, they all come to the Farley’s for food and fellowship!
Sunday
Bishop’s topic was taken from Psalms 107. He spoke on four different kind of Christians in trouble. The title of his message was “God will never walk out on you!”

The Starving Christian, The One who has fallen into sin because of disobedience to God’s Word, The one who brought down trouble upon himself, and the one who is swamped by the storm in business or career!

Verse 28 says “Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses."
Sunday afternoon Hope Institute conducted its graduation ceremonies. This year we had two graduates, “William Plowden and Harrison Graves”. They each were receiving their Assoc. of Theology degrees. Bishop preached from 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."
Bishop brought out that only 12% of Americans who claim to be Christians read their Bibles, that means 88% do not. He stated that his challenged to the graduates was that they be men of God who will not be ashamed, but will prove their ministries, by rightly dividing the word of truth. He then proceed to explain what the wording in this text meant.

The Group Chosen sang at the close of the ceremonies and everyone was blessed!

With the graduation of William and Harrison, we have now graduated 40 students into the ministry.
